The Gilded Pen

If you are interested in having your book, or a book you represent, reviewed by The Gilded Pen, please read our review ‘guidelines’ throughly before submitting. While we would love to include reviews to all books imaginable, understandable circumstances prevent us from doing so.

Review requests, if not submitted through our contact form, can be mailed to reviews@thegildedpen.com. We request the following information with all requests:

• Novel Title
• Author’s Name
• Publishing House
• Contact email/address
• ISBN#
• Publication Date
• 1-2 page synopsis

The Gilded Pen gives priority consideration to authors.
Authors, as well as independent publicists who are working on an author’s behalf. who submit a Request for Review will be placed on our priority review list. Reviewers select titles from this list and provide reviews within 90 days of receipt of book.

We no longer accept erotica.
We have nothing against erotic fiction but must decline any requests for review of works in this genre. We will continue to accept Erotic Romance as long as the main theme of the novel is romance which is not over shadowed by meaningless sexual encounters.

The Gilded Pen accepts limited ebooks.
While we are strong advocacies for the electronic movement, we can only accept a limited number of ebooks for review as only a very few of our reviewers are able to read electronic material anywhere other than their computers.

The Gilded Pen can not guarantee the review of a novel.
With the number of books that come through our office we can not guarantee that your novel will be reviewed. We do promises that any book that has been sent to us for review that nas NOT been reviewed will never be sold. Non-reviewed copies will be giving away as site prizes or donated to libraries.

All reviews hosted on The Gilded Pen remain the soul property of the reviewer and do not reflect the views of The Gilded Pen. If you believe you have received an unfair review you are welcome to submit another review request.
